Love this time of the year

So we kinda slept in yesterday and didn't make it to church...OOPS! So we decided to take the opportunity to make some Christmas treats for our friends and neighbors. We made hot chocolate and put it in bags with marshmallows and candy cane sticks and made candy coated pretzel sticks in fun designs such as snowflakes and santas and snowmen. It was alot of fun. We then bagged them up in these cute little snowmen bags that we found at Wally World and started delivering them. Ysabella and Trystan were so excited!!!! One of our neighbors were like Hold one, hold on, we have something for you and gave the kids some old fashioned orange sticks. As we were walking home Ysabella stopped and was like" the other people didn't give us anything!" It gave me the perfect opportunity to give a good lesson about the spirit of giving. When Scott took me to work later on in the afternoon the Salvation Army was outside ringing their bells and I gave each of them a dollar to go give away. Hopefully they understand a little better now!!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!

Sittin here....

So I am now just wasting time lol. The kids and I are getting ready to watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and I think they will enjoy it. I can remember watching all the little cartoon specials that came on with my Mom or Dad around the holiday season and I do believe that it was one of my favorite parts of the holidays!! Anyway-today was the last day of school until next Monday. I hope I don't pull my hair out this week! It is amazing that the kids can be so wonderful when you only have one at a time...but put them together and you feel like you you have two completely different kids! LOL Maybe I am exaggerating and maybe I will get lucky and they will actually not climb the walls during the Thanksgiving break!
On another note...I don't see how people think that they are excused from certain policies! I had a lady come in today demanding to pick up her daughters pictures and when I asked her for her receipt, she got very irate and was just like "She's my daughter, why in the hell can't I pick up her pictures?!" For one lady, your daughter is an adult and put the pictures in her name and for two, you could pick them up if you have the receipt!...Needless to say, I explained all of this and she was like fine, I'll be right back...well she never came back!!! Which proves that she didn't have the dang receipt....UGH...LOL Oh well enough with the ranting I guess.

Happy Holidays!!

If you can't beat em, join em!

Hey Everyone!
Well, I decided I might as well start the whole blog thing. I kept putting it off since I had a MySpace but I have a lot of family and friends who don't use MySpace but wouldn't mind reading a blog....so here I am! LOL
I guess a lot has changed within the past year. Scott and I are doing well, it's almost been 7 years and that is crazy to me. He is working Full Time at Rocky Mountain Furniture, he really enjoys the work and the people he works for. I am working PT at PictureMe! Portrait Studio and still love it. For those of you who don't know, I am working on my Business Management Degree and although I don't like all the coursework, I can not wait until I am done! I am planning on opening my own Studio, but although I have quite the clientele built here in Cedar City, I don't really want to open my business doors here. I really want to move to either Oklahoma or Idaho. I guess we will wait and see when that bridge is ready to cross.
Ysabella is doing great in school. She is such a good student and is always willing to do her homework which is nice. Trystan is completely potty trained now!!! I can't even begin to express how excited I am! Anyway-I guess that will do it for right now...I'm a bit loopy as I am getting over bronchitis. It has been a hard week!
